Hello everyone,
This is Divya Sharma from Nurpur, Distt. Kangra (H.P.). I have completed my schooling from JNV Paprola, Graduation in Botany and Master in English.
Undoubtedly, these documental qualifications meant alot to us in this era but I do believe that “getting an education without knowing its pertinent value seems to make a man a more clever devil”.
Anyways, before moving ahead, let me introduce myself a little more.
As soon I completed graduation, I started targeting state government exams. And after a certain failure, I accomplished to qualify the various exams in a row. These were
HPSSC Clerical in 2017, Allied Prelims in 2017, IBPS Pre in 2019, Sub Inspector Prelims in 2019, Patwari Exam in 2019 etc.
From here, I got a boost towards the higher exams and right now I am determined myself for HPPSC and Allied in a bit different manner as previous by setting my mind to a very famous quote of Oscar Wilde, ” Shoot for the moon. Even if you miss, you will land among the stars”.
Besides this, I started teaching for the same in various academies in Shimla, Palampur and Nurpur.
Since I have started working as an educator, I have realised the pathetic condition of our youth (this truth can offend). Every second or third student of our state starts dreaming of Government jobs WITHOUT KNOWING HIS CALIBER.
My beloved one, Please…first of all, you must have to introspect that whether you are really eligible of targetting your dream exam or you are also just one of the victims of mob mentality because according to my perspective, fulfilling education qualification and age criteria is not enough for cracking an exam.
Presently, I am running an institute with a selflessly dedicated team after the name of our local temple i.e. is BRIJ RAJ INSTITUTE FOR EMERGING HIMACHAL in my hometown only for the sake of making our Youth more aware about their career, future and their superiority before the time gets off from the hands.
I sometimes feel proud that we are known for the selfless service and the academy with the lowest fee structure in the whole state. Still, many more attainments are waiting on the way.
We are currently providing new batches for Clerk, Patwari, Police Constable, Sub Inspector and all State exams.
My respected ones, I have not intended to down your morale but I am requesting you humbly just to look at yourself and analyse whether for what you are actually meant?
Here, I am not going to share any booklist (as it will be easily available on the internet).
But, I want to tell you some of the mistakes which I have experienced in the last 4-5 years that you will not have to do in future at any cost:
1. Make your syllabus limited. There is no need to complete the whole bulky book at once. (No problem, which publisher you are following, you must know your exam pattern and level of questions in the exams.) Because, for cracking a higher exam, you. must be a jack of all trades but master of none.
2. If you are making notes, get two or three sources. Only summarising a book is not considered as notes at all.
3. Stick to your goals. Do not get diverted by seeing more or fewer vacancies.
Because no matter how much vacancies are realising by the govt. but at least you only need one. So just fight for that particular goal and do not give excuses of fewer vacancies etc. Only those people make excuses who can’t win. So, avoid excuses about your failure.
4. Be consistent with your studies. I ain’t gonna suggest you study for 15-16 hours a day but at least study regularly. Make sure,
you need to improve yourself every day. For example, if you are studying for 1 hour on the first day then try to study for 2 hours or more in the next upcoming days.
5. WARNING: Do not take the previous year Question papers for granted. These will help you to analyse the level of questions and more concept clearance while studying.
Keep revising whatever you study.
That’s all from my side.
Wish you all very good luck.
Thanks
